In a bid to implement the "four revolutions and one cooperation" new strategy of energy safety, and accelerate the establishment of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, multiple ministries including SASAC are committed to promoting the energy industrial internet, with SPIC being the leading entity to build and operate the platform, which aggregates data including energy production, economy, consumption and safety, and provides services such as situational awareness of energy security, application of energy big data, development of smart energy projects and energy derivatives. The platform is able to provide firm support for the management and decision-making of the energy industry, effectively ensure the safe operation of the national energy system, and promote the upgrade and green development of the industry.
