SPIC is committed to international development. As of the end of September 2021, SPIC operates in 46 countries and regions, 37 of which are along the Belt and Road. The installed capacity overseas totals 6,647 MW, including 2,343 MW of hydropower, 1,816 MW of coal-fired power, 618 MW of gas-fired power, 1,188 GW of wind power, 583 MW of PV power, with clean power taking up 73%. The projects under construction overseas totals 1,715 MW (excluding the Upstream Ayeyawady River Basin Hydropower Project in Myanmar). SPIC is currently executing 13 EPC power projects and 30 of technical service contracts covering power plant consulting and design, operation and maintenance training, etc.
