Environmental Protection: SPIC's environmental protection business includes the general contracting of desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal projects, concessional operation of desulfurization and denitrification facilities, manufacturing and regeneration of denitrification catalyst, manufacturing of electrostatic precipitators, water treatment, low level waste disposal, construction of nuclear waste disposal sites, and energy conservation, covering most parts of China and countries such as India and Turkey.

Industrial Finance: By the end of 2020, SPIC owned USD 17.9 billion financial assets and had USD 69.1 billion under management, holding six companies listed in China's mainland and Hong Kong SAR, and two listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ).
