By advocating the safety concept of “all risks can be controlled, all rule violations can be prevented, all accidents can be avoided”, CPI further improved safety management assurance system and supervision system, promoted standardized management of production safety, and achieved considerable effects in various safety-related operation works. In 2010, CPI did not have any human or equipment accidents of major responsibility level or above, no dam collapse or major flood accidents, nor major fire or traffic accidents. More than 1000 emergency drills were organized, involving 14000 person times and effectively enhancing CPI's overall ability of accident relief. CPI also successfully handled 9 emergent incidents and resisted natural disasters.

  

All-excellence rate reached 68% for A & B level maintenance on coal-fired units in CPI.
