The integrated pollutants control project for the newly-built 660 MW unit of CPI’s Hechuan Power Plant was built by CPI Yuanda Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd and put into operation in 2014. It was the first project of its kind in China for 660 MW units.

According to a third-party test conducted by Northeast China Electric Power Research Institute, the effect of pollutants control was remarkable, and all technical indicators met the ultra-clean emission requirements, with the outlet emission concentration of SO_², dust and NO_^x reaching 14.4 mg/m³, 7.99 mg/m³ and 45.5 mg/m³ respectively.
