In 2011, CPI implemented 30 FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) and de-NOx EPC projects that were under construction and newly started. 17 projects with capacity of 7850MW installed with 21 sets of FGD and de-NOx devices were put into operation in 2011. CPI won awards of 878 million RMB of FGD and de-NOx engineering and technical services, a year-on-year increase of 163.5%. CPI also won 2 non-power FGD projects and 1 overseas FGD project. CPI obtained 7 new FGD concession operational projects with total capacity of 6680MW, driving the concession operational capacity amounting to 11GW.

  

In 2011, CPI produced approx. 6000m³ of de-NOx catalyst, won awards of 10300m³ with an increase of 73% of awarded value. CPI won 17 projects and took more than 40% of competitive bidding market share, ranking first place in the industry.

  

In 2011, CPI won 22 awards worth 86.08 million RMB in water industry, out of which 83.62 million RMB or 97% came from water treatment projects. Water business was repositioned and transformed from single EPC contract to EPC, investment and operation. New development sectors like coal chemistry, sea water desalination and recycled water resources utilization were identified. The strategic cooperation agreement for water system in Ningjin salt chemistry recycling economic park was inked.
