SPIC Signed Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Siemens

  On March 26, QIAN Zhimin, Chairman of SPIC and Joe KAESER, President and CEO of Siemens AG, signed the "Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement between SPIC and Siemens AG" in Beijing.

 

  According to the Agreement, the two sides will, with a shared vision of promoting global clean energy reform, give full play to their respective industrial advantages and utilize all the resources available to have further cooperation in the fields of heavy-duty gas turbine, digitalization of power plant, hydrogen utilization, decentralized energy system, smart micro-grid, modernization and upgrade of existing old plant, international project on gas turbine, and exchange of executive management.

  Previously, the two parties have reached a technical cooperation agreement in the field of heavy-duty gas turbine in Beijing, which is a further deepening of cooperation between the two parties after the signing of the MOU with Siemens in July 2018. Through its technical experience in design, engineering and testing, Siemens will provide support for the heavy-duty gas turbine project of China United Gas Turbine Technology Co., Ltd. ("UGTC"). UGTC is a subsidiary of SPIC.
