SPIC and Siemens AG signed an Equipment Supply and Service Contract for Heavy-duty Gas Turbine Test Power Station

ĦĦĦĦOn June 11, during the webinar between the Chinese Premier and German Chancellor, QIAN Zhimin, Chairman of SPIC, and Joe KAESER, President and CEO of Siemens AG, signed the Equipment Supply and Service Contract for #2 Guarantee Unit of China Heavy-duty Gas Turbine Test Power Station Project via video, witnessed by Mr MIAO Wei, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Peter ALTMAIER, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. Recently, Siemens AG won the bidding. According to the Contract, Siemens AG will provide SPIC with a set of advanced H-class Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine equipment and relevant technical services.

ĦĦĦĦThe two sides signed the AGREEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY COLLABORATION OF HEAVY-DUTY GAS TURBINE in March 2019, and the MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING COLLABORATION ON GREEN HYDROGEN DEVELOPMENT AND COMPREHENSIVE UTILIZATION in September, the same year. Based on this, the two sides fully utilize their respective industrial and technological strength to further enhance all-around strategic cooperation in areas of heavy-duty gas turbines, development and utilization of hydrogen energy, third-country market cooperation. After implementation of the aforementioned contract, the two sides will, based on the Heavy-duty Gas Turbine Test Power Station Project, carry out pragmatic cooperation in fields of engineering design of advanced H-class heavy-duty gas turbines, construction of test and verification base for smart heavy-duty gas turbines. In this doing, the two sides will continue to promote the transformation of clean energy and accelerate the global decarbonization process, making valuable contribution to the global combat of climate change and green development, meanwhile, setting a role model for the two countriesĦŻenergy corporation cooperation.
