On June 7, Wang Binghua, the Chairman of the SPIC, met Peter Bakker, the President and CEO of World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and the delegation at headquarters.

Wang Binghua expressed his warm welcome to Peter Bakker and the delegation for their visit. He introduced the energy transformation and development of SPIC from various aspects, including clean coal power, nuclear power, solar power and wind power. He suggested that, both parties should establish long-term communication mechanism to share information, and hoped that, more Chinese enterprises would be able to express themselves in international society through the global platform.

Bakker expressed his appreciation on the work Chinese enterprises (including SPIC) have done to realize sustainable development of energy , and hoped that SPIC could share the successful experience of China to more member enterprises of WBCSD, and solve common problems faced with enterprises from each areas and regions hand in hand.
