From 12 March to 16 March 2017, President Meng Zhenping of  SPIC headed a delegation to the United Arab Emirates,  druing which, he met with Chairman Arifof ABRAAJ Group  on the follow-up matters concerning the acquisition of Pakistan Karachi Electricity (KE) and attended  the “ABRAAJ WEEK 2017”. 

During the visit, Meng Zhenping made a speech  at the “regional transformation and future frontier” session. He presented SPIC’s active participation in the “The Belt and Road Initiative” energy cooperation, and  answered questions concerning economic development and investment environment in China as well as  SPIC’s energy investment strategy  in Pakistan. 

 “ABRAAJ WEEK 2017” was held in Dubai. The sponsor, ABRAAJ Group, invited nearly 300 investors, industry leaders, government officials and partners to attendthe  event to discuss the development of the global economy, with particular  focus on opportunities and challenges in the emerging market this year.
