　　On November 11, Chairman Wang Binghua visited Shenyang Blower Works Group to oversee research progress of CAP1400 canned motor pump.

　　A delegation headed by Chairman Wang Binghua, Chairman Dai Jishuang, Secretary of the Party Committee Kong Yuelong and Deputy General Manager Yu Hongchang of Shenyang Blower Works Group (Shenyang Blower Group), General Manager Wu Weizhang of Harbin Electric Corporation (HEC) and Vice President Jiang Jinshui of China First Heavy Industries took a view of full-scale test loop of CAP1400 canned motor pump independently produced by Shenyang Blower Group, witnessed the test and commissioning procedures of canned motor pump prototype developed by nuclear pump division of Shenyang Blower Group and Harbin Electric Power Equipment (HEPE) for CAP1400 demonstration project.

　　Following the visit, the participating parties gathered at an executive coordination meeting specific to canned motor pump. Chairman Wang Binghua was given a detailed report on test and commissioning results of CAP1400 canned motor pump prototype, as well as on development and manufacturing of CAP canned motor pump products and related crucial materials. Mr. Wang Binghua gave recognition to what Shenyang Blower Group and HEC did for developing domestically manufactured equipment, highlighted importance of local content, and made specific instructions for follow-up. He also expects Shenyang Blower Group and HEC to make every effort to improve their capabilities in domestically manufacturing AP/CAP pumps to meet construction demands of State Nuclear Power Technology projects. Program of actions was concluded at the meeting.

　　Executives from State Nuclear Power Technology, SPIC General Office, Northeast Electric Power, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute and State Nuclear Power Engineering accompanied Mr. Wang Binghua for this visit.
