On December 30, 2014, a very exciting news came from CPI Huanghe Company: its 530MW PV Power Project, i.e. Phase II of Longyangxia Hydro/PV Hybrid Project was successfully synchronized.

Longyangxia PV/Hydro power project is located in Qinghai Province’s Gonghe PV Industrial Park, covering a 20.4 km2 area. The total installed capacity of PV units is 850MW. Construction of Longyangxia Phase I began in March 2013, with commissioning and connecting to the grid in December 2013.

Compared with Phase I, Longyangxia Phase II has a larger scale of construction and bigger installed capacity, becoming the largest in the world. Through a shared 330kV booster station, Phase I and II can contribute 824GWh green energy to the northwestern power grid.
