Goals in the Second Step of “Three-step Strategy”

By 2015, total installed capacity reaches 100GW, in which hydropower is 22.1GW, nuclear power 5.2GW, wind and solar power 11GW, gas power and IGCC 4.4GW, with the percentage of clean energy up to 40%. Coal production capacity reaches 100 million tons, coal self-supply rate over 40%; aluminium production capacity 3 million tons, with industry chain completed and value chain established. Total assets reach RMB 900 billion, revenue RMB 200 billion and total profit RMB 18 billion.

  

By 2015, CPI basically accomplishes strategic transformation, forms five industrial clusters and inter-regional coal-power integration, and commissiones its first nuclear power plant with itself as the sole majority shareholder. Overseas projects reach a certain scope, with value-creating ability obviously enhanced and main indicators among the top in the industry and amid state-owned enterprises. CPI will grow into a comprehensive energy group with more rational industrial structure, more optimized and strengthened business blocks, better synergy effects and more efficient resource allocation, a state-owned enterprise with overall strength, industry influence, innovation capability, market competitiveness, value creation capability, and risk-resisting capacity, a resource-saving and environment-friendly enterprise with high percentage of clean energies, low consumption of energies and resources and low pollutant emission, and a modern enterprise with outstanding main businesses, excellent corporate governance, sufficient HR supply, well-developed systems and mechanisms and well-received corporate values. At that time, CPI will rely on a more profound foundation and a more fervent momentum to forge ahead toward the goal of becoming a first-class energy group in the world.
