Restructuring of Qingtongxia Aluminum added 580,000 tons of aluminium capacity and made the total capacity reach 1.03 million tons. Other aluminum projects, including Huomei Hongjun’s 500,000 tons of Mengdong Energy Group, 250,000 tons of Huanghe Hydropower Xinye Branch and Zhongqingmai’s 270,000 tons of Ningxia Energy & Aluminum, are in smooth construction.

   

Meanwhile, the 331km Chidabai railway is open for traffic, and 282km Jinchi railway has been ratified and commenced construction. Jinzhou coal port with a design throughput capacity of 50 million tons/year is in NDRC’s approving process now, with the right of comprehensive development of Binhai port already acquired.
