In 2008, CPI’s coal output reached 37.05 million tons and aluminum reached 460,000 tons, up 36% and 26% year-on-year respectively. Reserve of coal resources was above 8 billion tons. 15 million-ton expansion project of No.2 mine of Huolinhe is under smooth construction, and capital construction of two major open-pit mines of Baiyinhua totaling a capacity of 29 million tons has unfolded comprehensively.
